|
The
zirconium-tungsten electrode boasts a fine performance
in welding under the condition of AC. Especially in the
circumstance of high load of current, the
zirconium-tungsten’s excellent performance is far better
than that of other electrodes. When welded, the end of
zirconium-tungsten electrode remains pellet-shaped,
reducing the chances of tungsten oozing. |

Cerium-tungsten electrode is
the electrode of tungsten added with 2%of CeO2.The power
of its electronic transgression is 2.4ev,less than that
of thorium-tungsten electrode .Its arc derivation
voltage is also lower with better arc derivation
function and higher arc power stability.The current
allowed under the condition of anode direct current is
higher and the burn spoilage is
smaller.
Cerium-tungsten electrode,a new type of
non-radiate electrode material invented in China,can not
only replace the thorium-tungsten electrode in the case
of low direct current and mini-scaled welding but also
bears superior features over the latter. |

The pure tungsten electrode is
the one without any addition of oxide. The power of
electronic transgreesion is as high as 4.5ev. Requiring
a high voltage for arc derivation, it has a low current
capacity and is easily burnt. It’s good for application
